 Evers was named General Manager of Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in 1995, President & CEO of Chateau Elan Hotels & Resorts in 2000 and Equity Partner in 2004. Over the past decade with Chateau Élan, Henk has also developed and managed the resort's sister properties in Scotland, Florida, California and recent has started managing Carl Gustaf in St. Barths. He formally held various national and international executive committee positions with Marriott Corporation for 17 years prior to joining Chateau Elan.
 
A native of the Netherlands, Evers is a graduate of the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland.  For the past several years Evers has been named among the top most influential hospitality leaders in Greater Atlanta by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
