The Georgia chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute (CCIM), the leading authority for commercial real estate through networking, education and technology, will present an insightful look next week into Foreign Investment in the U.S. Real Estate Market.

The panel will take place Thursday, Sept. 23 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at South Terraces in Perimeter Center.

Zeb Bradford, senior managing director at Metzler North America, will moderate the panel. Industry veterans, David C. Pahl, managing director at Prudential Real Estate Investors, Manish Bhatia of KanAm Grund America, and Toni V. Meyer-Walker of Trimont Real Estate Advisors, Inc., will be the panelists.

Panelists will discuss topics such as, what makes the Atlanta real estate market attractive or unattractive to foreign investors, why the U.S. is a destination for foreign capital and who the primary foreign investors in U.S. real estate are and how has this changed over time.

“The Georgia CCIM chapter has put together an all-star panel,” said Justin Dinerman, CCIM, CPM, owner, Dinerman Group. “They will provide great insight into why foreign investors are looking at Atlanta and whether they expect this trend to grow.”

Based in Metzler’s Atlanta office, Bradford is responsible for the firm’s investment activities in the entire United States. He joined Metzler in July 2005. Bradford received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boston University with emphasis on Finance.

He is responsible for overseeing all of Pramerica’s funds for North American investments on behalf of Prudential Real Estate Investors.
