The recent financial crisis has been called the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. It has contributed to the failure of key businesses, declines in consumer wealth, financial commitments and a significant drop in economic activity. Market-based and regulatory solutions to revive and strengthen the economy have been implemented.

What significant risks remain for Georgia, U.S. and the world economy in 2010? Will there be a recovery? What will be the pace of that recovery? How should businesses and entrepreneurs plan?

Dr. Rajeev Dhawan, Professor & Director of the Economic Forecasting Center at the Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University will launch the TiE Atlanta Crystal Ball series by sharing his perspectives on what's in store for all of us around the world, in the US and especially in GA. Following his presentation, Dr. Dhawan will be joined in a panel discussion with Raj Deshpande, CEO of Pulseworks and CyberScrub and Vibha Rustagi, CEO of itaas, Inc. The distinguished panelists will take questions from the floor as well.
