Joseph Folz is the new general counsel for Atlanta-based Porsche Cars North America Inc. 

Mr. Folz was previously with the automotive practice group of Chicago law firm Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLC.

He had a 29-year career with Volkswagen Group of America, leading the legal department and overseeing government relations, product liaison, vehicle regulations, aviation, and corporate-diversity initiatives.
