Thierry Kartochian has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Atlanta-based Porsche Cars North America Inc. 

Mr. Kartochian, 43, joined Porsche AG in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1991 as a controlling analyst.

He has most recently been posted in Chicago, where he was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Porsche Business Services and Porsche Financial Services.

In his new position, Mr. Kartochian will replace Frank Hoffmann, who left the company.
