The dean of Clayton State University’s business school, is leaving in March for a similar position at Abu Dhabi University in the United Arab Emirates.
Jacob Chacko was hired by Clayton State in 1999 as associate dean of the business school. He was promoted to dean in January 2008.
He helped the business school obtain accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. One of his missions at Abu Dhabi University will be to obtain AACSB accreditation.
“Dean Chacko will be seriously missed,” said Micheal Crafton, Clayton State’s interim vice president for academic affairs and provost.
